The students and faculty at Griffith Elementary School wanted to show our soldiers how much they love and support them. Students from preschool to 4th grade lined the grass and road with flags, banners, posters and cards to show their support. The preschool children who had made Christmas cards for the soldiers handed them out with the help of their friends in 1st grade. There were family and friends of the soldiers in the crowd as well wishing them off. We wish them well and a safe return home to their families. The soldiers made an impression on all the students by taking the time to stop and say hi to each and every child.
