Preschool Learns about Bus Safety

The preschool learned about transportation this week. One part of transportation is the how do we get to school in the mornings. When the children were asked the majority of them do not ride the bus in the morning. So to prepare them for kindergarten and riding the big bus Mr. Charlie Thistle and Ms. Betty Clark brought their buses # 5 and # 18 to school for the children to see. The preschoolers were able to climb into the buses, learn about the safety rules of riding the bus, hear the horn honk and even sit in the bus seats. They were amazed how tall the seats were, they could not see anyone in front of them on the new bus # 18. We would like to thank Mr. Charlie and Ms. Betty for taking time out of their day to show us the buses.
