Lions Club comes to visit 2nd grade
The second graders learned how seeing eye dogs help people who are blind. These dogs are not "pets" of the people but their eyes as they go about the world. Norman went to school to learn how to be Donna's eyes. Donna had to go to school as well to be trained on how to use Norman as her eyes. Donna and Norman work together as a team. Thank you to the Lion's Club for coming and showing us how important seeing eye dogs are.
