Student Council elects new officers. While the country was casting its vote for the next President of the United States, third and fourth grade students at Giffith Elementary School were electing a new student council. Elected president was Sidney Schultz, Vice President-Evan Dennis, Secretary-Ashley Dempsey and Reporter-Savannah Land.
For their first order of business, the student council has begun a food drive now through Friday, December 12th. The food will be distrubuted to less-fortunate families during the holiday season. Anyone wishing to contribute may send cannned goods in with a student or drop them off in the front office. The Griffith Elementary School Student Council appreciates your support in this endeaver.
